i think we all can agree with this>>>

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Meh.

It's always somebody else's fault these days. It’s not the fault of the advertising industry. It is the fault of stupid selfish 'common man' who have bought into consumerism (and like it), and governments that promote this idea because it keeps the economy growing, helping to make them richer and more powerful.

I agree that the common man wants to live in peace, but as for justice and a clean environment, I am not so sure the common man gives that much of a shit so long as it doesn’t affect him too much. The common man wants peace, wants enough to keep him and his family comparatively happy and satisfied, and perhaps for his kids to have it a bit better than he did.

What is it to spend one’s money “wisely”? What is “wisely”? To spend it in such a way that it conforms to Woody Harrelson’s political vision of “social responsibility,” or to maximize comfort and enjoyment for me and mine, or perhaps some other ideal?

Does starvation exist because our resources are not utilized “wisely,” or because of distribution, environmental and political constraints?

So Woody Harrelson has his finger on the pulse of the world majority? Did he gain that insight in Hollywood or where?

And putting Michael Moore and Chomsky in the background didn’t make this actor any more convincing.
