Left there like a roadkill raccoon

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

...except had it been an animal killed, people in cars would have actually stopped to collect the carcass. Life is cheap on the roads of Thailand.
Vicious Hit And Run On Pattaya Bypass
15 April, 2016
In the early hours of this morning, police discovered the body of a Thai male on the Pattaya bound, Route 36 Bypass.

Pattaya police arrived at the gruesome scene to find the victim of the hit and run accident had been driven over repeatedly until his body was crushed into a pulp.

Police detectives collected two vehicle parts, found 50 metres away from the crime scene and took them into evidence. The bronze and grey pieces are believed to be from a pick-up truck.

The unidentified Thai man, aged approximately 40 years old was wearing a t-shirt and long trousers at the time of the incident.

Thaaaaaaaaat's Asia! I'll buy Asian culture for a dollar, actually make it 50c.

I'm guessing no one buys insurance. How do the US not get into this shit as well, as even the insured are banged up if they hit a jay walker.
