A story on Smokin
Well really a story on ''smoke in'' the air. But this morning on my early morning walk as I breathed in the air, I remembered back to the 1950 and 60 and how I could smell the salt watery air first thing in the morning as it blew in from the coast a few miles away.
Yep, that's where I lived , house on far RH side'
Now when I go for a walk I can smell this.

And the dust in the air that is produced from over loaded trucks dropping sand/soil on the road for vehicles to churn up!!!
Have a look early in the morning at sun rise and at sun set and you do not see a nice yellow sun, no, it is obscured by dust in the air. This country must be the biggest dust bowl in the world.

City Hall have a new street sweeping machine, so that problem of dirt on the side of the road problem ,, has been solved.

Not even close from my experience! But I do agree that it's definitely getting worse.Popeye wrote:This country must be the biggest dust bowl in the world.
