Drunk Driving African Man Agrees to Pay $350 to Motodop After Running Over His Motorbike and Crashing Into 5 Flower Pots

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

Phnom Penh: A black (African?) man was assumed to be drunk when driving his Highlander SUV and running off the side of the road onto the sidewalk, hitting a motodop, dragging it for 10 meters and crashing into a few flower pots before finally coming to a stop.

Besides the 5 very surprised and broken flower pots, there were no injuries.

According to local media, this event happened at 5:00am on March 1, 2016 on street 271, Psaderm Tngov commune, Chamka Mon district, Phnom Penh.

According to eyewitnesses at the scene, there was a black man driving his silver SUV, a Highlander, plate number 2AG 8614 Phnom Penh, on street 271 heading East at a very fast speed. He ended up crashing into a motorbike (Asong Korea?) which belonged to a motodop who was on the side of the road waiting for passengers. The drunk driver dragged the bike underneath until hitting 5 flower pots soon after.

The drunk driving African agreed to pay $350 to the surprised motodop and to also buy all the flower pots he destroyed.
