Buffalo butchered alive in Ratanakiri province ceremony
Video floating around facebook of some ceremonial practice of killing some tied up buffalo, with a lot of comments appearing to call out for the practice to be banned for its cruelty, due to the way the buffalo are butchered alive

how the hell is it any different from bull fighting? btw it is not buddhism, it is a local culture, buddhism is offering of flowers, incense and candles.

It's got nothing to do with Buddhism, it's an ancient animist ritual practiced by many hill-tribes. It's done fairly selectively as a sacrifice when bad luck seems to loom, it''s not something people do every dinner time or anything. Still it is very savage and cruel.
Silence, exile, and cunning.
