Australian Woman Bitten by 2 Cambodians?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

One of about a thousand reasons NOT to walk around barefoot out here, even on the beach.

Seems like 2 cases of serious tourist injury; one from being attacked with a machete/ Chinese chopper, and the other electrocution by walking down a public street. I also know of another tourist death that wasn't reported in the media. In fact, it's rather fucking shocking that the 2 old western EL papers aren't covering these stories. I've given up on the KT. Tourist dollars?
2 unreported deaths? Enlighten us.
Sorry General, but you picked up on the wrong part of my post there. Or is it just me that finds the lack of reporting by the EL papers on such issues as tourist robbery with a weapon or a death to be flabbergasting? The one I know of died in hospital, so it should have been very easy for even a half-decent reporter to get the info.
