Has Sihanoukville got better, or worse?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. popped out last night and met some friends down pub street, which surprised me at how busy it was, as its usually a ghost town, seemed to be more girls working in some of the surrounding bars than normal, after the football finished we popped to the square for a couple, theres more bars been/being built along the front, making it look very large now, a lot of new bars open this year compared to last year where about half were closed/deserted, seemed pretty busy as well, again busier than last year, then took a drive up victory hill around 12-1ish, the street was dead apart from dragonfly which was busy, but usually is this time of year, went and checked out my mates new bar at the end of the night called Taboo thats opened opposite Utopia, its nice and a good location

i only got back down here yesterday but the place seems a little busier than the past couple of seasons, or it could just be because it was a saturday, and it was the middle of the rainy season when i left lol still lots of development going on and new buildings popping up everywhere,
i do prefer how it sounded 10 years ago though, the exchange rate was loads better too lol

So it has bars?

Just looks like an average beach with not much too do.

Do you have some pictures where the beach looks better than average?

I've been to over 500 beaches maybe more than 1000, I'm unsure what makes this 1 so special.
Average is good too, you do know that right? My comment was made in reference to what else is there to do besides the beach and bars?

The best places I have been, have been with the best company. Some have better views and beaches than others.

Excellent work beating me down and doing nothing to improve the image of SH.

Yes, I really love Phnom Penh.
I don't like SR and I have been there.

I like how rude you are, you would be most welcome in my group of friends.
