I was expecting a photo of a big plate with roast duck and fresh cooked vegies. Oh well , maybe the next photo update.

Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

They are much more grown up now, but the geese are still very much attached to us. They give me peace, but I give them very little!

Will you allow them to fly away when they are able, or will you clip their wings?

We've been discussing this because they are just getting their full-size wings now. I don't feel happy about it, but I think we will have to clip their wings if they start flying. I hate to take that away from them, but my worry is that they will fly into one of our neighbors' yards and become someone's dinner. If we had a larger property, I wouldn't clip them. I also don't think that domesticated ducks can survive on their own in the wild, they are too spoiled (at least ours are). In fact, they are so fat that I doubt they could fly far.
