Young girl stabbed herself as she got mad with her aunt advising her not to go out late night

Phnom Penh: According to Koh Santepheap Daily News, a young girl stabbed herself in her belly as she got mad with her aunt telling her not to go out late night. The incident happened around 7 pm on 14 December 2015 at a rented house located in Preak Takong village, Chak Angre Le commune, Meanchey district.

According to the source, the victim is a 23 years old girl and her aunt is 30 years old and they both are garment factory worker. They are originally from Kampong Speu province.
Before the incident happened, the aunt advised her not to go out late night as lately she went out really late and sometime she didn’t come to the room until the morning. She didn’t listen to her aunt and she was really mad. She walked back to her room and locked the room. Then, she stabbed herself in room. She screamed Ouch Ouch! Which was heard by her neighbor. Then, her neighbor called her aunt who lives in another room nearby come to see her. They broke the door and found her on the floor with the knife sticking from her belly. She was brought to Bayon hospital first, but the doctor didn’t dare to treat her and later she was brought to Khmer-Soviet hospital.

Watched a bloke in London do that to himself once. Think he was a bit down, as he walked to the kitchen, took a large carving knife and did a proper job on his stomach in front of ten surprised people.

He got taken away in the ambulance but lived.
