A Turkish man hit PTT Petrol station staff and Hang Meas TV reporter
Phnom Penh: According to Koh Santepheap Daily News, A drunken Turkish man attacked PTT Petrol station staff which caused a shocking moment. Hang Meas TV reporter was there and took some pictures during the fight. Later, the girlfriend of the Turkish guy came to take away the phone from the reporter after that there was a British guy came and attacked the reporter. The incident happened around 4:50 am on 27 November 2015 in front of PTT petrol station along Monivong Blvd, Tonle Basacc commune, Daun Penh district.
According to witnesses, before the incident happened, a Turkish man who is about 30 years old or so drove RX300 Lexus accompanied by his Cambodian girlfriend in the direction from south to north and then, he stopped where the incident happened (in front of PTT petrol station), then it was time for the staff to open the station. So, the staff of PTT petrol station opened the gate and it hit the Turkish man car. So, the Turkish man got out of his car and punched the staff 3 times in the face. So, the staff reported it to police for intervention. During the time of fighting, a reporter was there, so he took some pictures of the fight. Then, the girlfriend of the Turkish man came to take away the phone from the reporter and then the Turkish guy came from the back and hit him (reporter) in the head.
After the incident, the victim reported to police for intervention, but police didn’t dare to arrest the Turkish man until 7:00 am. Later, he was sent to police station in Chamkarmon district.
