Beautiful Apsara Dancers in Angkor Wat

Have questions or resources regarding Khmer Culture? This forum is all about the Kingdom of Cambodia's culture. Khmer language, Cambodian weddings, French influence, Cambodian architecture, Cambodian politics, Khmer customs, etc? This is the place. Living in Cambodia can cause you to experience a whole new level of culture shock, so feel free to talk about all things related to the Khmer people, and their traditions. And if you want something in Khmer script translated into English, you will probably find what you need.

no,
for 1 month (April) they opened Angkor at night to the public,
the night i went there were less than 30 people an most of them were khmers, All of the temple was open for walking around an they gave a dance and khmer fighting show
just walking the path that the kings trod gave me an incredible feeling, It was magical

they stopped it cause the lights were too powerful

The smiling apsara is found on the wall, after you go through the right hand entrance, and out the other side, look back at there it is on the outside of the building.
