Time to ditch avatars?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

No, it represents my big mouth and my tendency to eat annoying things alive.

How much is it costing in bits/month to download the same pictures over and over again.

Next to nothing? Depends, how do you browse the forum?

poll here:

At about the 500th viewing, which comes pretty quickly, how many here

1. see more wit in their own avatar than when first they selected it

2. how many see less

3. how may see the same amount

Where are all the early CEO posters who absolutely insisted on the right to have and see naked tits and ass avatars? They said they left K440 specifically due to lack of naked avatar freedom and god-dammit CEO better allow jiggly tits and ass avatars.

I keep mine because I use them as a visual cue when scrolling fast to ID who made what post (if you don't have one it takes me longer to put a tone and name with the post) and I want to make it easier for myself and others.

They can be witty/etc... and I do change it sometimes... but overall I try to stay pretty consistent so without having to find the text and read it for a username it's instantly recognisable as to who made what post.

I tried to bring it in once, too big, fail, gave up.

I didn't have the guts to request a Mod help because everything was busy at first.

So when there's time, some helpful soul might help me out.
