National Cat Day

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

National Cat Day

Post by Kuroneko »

It was yesterday and I missed it!

Uber Celebrates National Cat Day By Delivering Kittens to Your Door

To celebrate National Cat Day, which is today, Uber is bringing kittens right to your door to cuddle! It’s basically like ordering a cat cafe via Seamless.
The UberKITTENS project works with various shelters throughout the country to give people a chance to hang out with cool cats that also need homes. The ride-sharing company has placed 30 kittens since the project began three years ago. After requesting the “kittens” option in the app, you’ll pay a $30 “snuggle fee” which helps support the shelters. Participants will then get 15 minutes of kitten playtime. Most shelters prefer to work with offices, so for those of you who are stuck in a cubicle all day, this could be an ideal way to spend your lunch break. http://jezebel.com/uber-celebrates-nati ... 1739339160

The deal is much better in Phnom Penh, for $30 you get a lot more than 15 minutes of pussy playtime :D

I'm not surprised that these criminal shelters (NGOs) are now willing to torture and traumatize cats for $ 30. Pigs.
