Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

This (the deportation) could be part of a "coffee shop" turf war, or a taxation warning/punishment. In any case, the coffee shop belonging to the Police Chief is probably ok for Khmer tradition,(what a surprise), however the Vietnamese ones will be shut down or fined.CEOCambodiaNews wrote:...
Besides this one coffee shop selling sexual services, residents in Oyadav have noticed that there are still 4-5 cafe shops which double as brothels whose owners are Vietnamese women, but those have not been raided yet.
Meanwhile, there are 2-3 cafes at Borkeo district and another one is in Srok Kon Mom district, which happens to be the house of Kon Mom, Police Chief, who rents it out.
These so-called 'coffee shops' are nothing more than brothels.
The Cambodian residents are calling on police and relevant agencies to close these brothels because they are having a bad effect on Khmer culture and traditions.
I'm only guessing, but it's probable that the girls working at the police chief's place are also Vietnamese without work permits. Thinks it's got more to do with the owners than the girls, and more to do with eliminating competition than illegal immigration. My 2c.

Generally, Khmers don't do the cafe/brothel style, I don't think it's a matter of turf war. It's most likely a combination of public racism and immigration. Every border town has these cafes, if they start shutting those down in Snuol then you'll know it's serious.Anchor Moy wrote:This (the deportation) could be part of a "coffee shop" turf war, or a taxation warning/punishment.
