A Young British Man Fought a Cambodian Man

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

The cheeky tuk tuk bastard wants $200. He didn't hit him hard enough! :-)
. I'm sure there are a few decent Tuk Tuk drivers in SHV, but quite a few are scumbags, selling drugs from around beach road and Victory hill, ripping people off on short journeys with threats of beatings if they don't cough up, all operating with impunity. The traffic police just up the road would rather stop tourists and search their pockets than challenge this scum. He's probably on the phone right there in the pic trying to round up his mates for revenge.
Yeah a few stitches here is all...maybe 50$ all in with 10$ going to the cops. Should of atleast broke his nose and a givin him a black eye if he would have known the comp. I think he's calling the cops as his 'dup mates were drinking beer in front if the hotel that afternoon, probably getting drunk before the evening shift.

It's a well known fact that steps are cheap motorbikes, probable the cheapest automatics you can buy. Nothing derogatory about it. :unknown:
I was joking!

However. Honda Win and Daelims are cheaper!

He deserves the $200 fine for his attire alone.

In fact, that's probably what caused all the trouble.

Dop: "What the fuck are you wearing?"

Dickhead: "Oi! Shut it old cunt, or I'll fucking nobble ya"

Probably cheaper on gas too! I had a friend who rented a step for a month and he told me he put atleast 60$ of gas in it just typically driving around town.

Raybull wrote:It's hardly news...this douchebag druggie lives at marina hotel, had a 'misunderstanding' with a motodup in front of the hotel and smacked him once. Dup wants 200$ in comp but barang only had 70$ and only owns a cheap suzuki step. He's in temporary lock down till he arranges proper comp plus a hundred for the poliz.
F me! well done. We got the cost and everything :thumb:
I hope they lent him their mobile to phone friends/home/anywhere he can get some cash. Just how cheeky was the tuk-tuk/motodop driver? I have hit one myself before now, but he hit me first. Lol. No money. No police. Golden Lions roundabout. All over extortion. What a surprise. No comeback yet, and it was about 6 years ago.

This is what i am afraid staying in dorm room. Most of these young foreigners always use drug. When i was on koh rong. i went to full moon party and i saw a young foreigner was acting really strange and his whole body was shaking and no one paid attention at him. they just left him laying down near the beach. When i asked people they said he was on drug and he will be okay soon. Scary.
