I've stayed in a few who lock the front gate at night. They always have someone sleeping in the front that you just need to wake up.

It's in bad taste to identify her especially if it does turn out that she was raped.

However, I see no problem with naming the guesthouse this took place across from.

I was surprised to see that the Cambodian press was nice enough to blur her face.

Ha ha I wanted to translate the updated news which mentioned her name, age, nationality and her passport number. However luckily I didn't do it.

-- NYE doors locked at night - really every guesthouse knows about that booze & party night, and 99% of the guests would rant drunk at locked doors, by experience..
-- nobody there, who heard the guest.

I think the real story here is that SO MANY PEOPLE think this is a story. She was MONUMENTALLY STUPID. Period. Live and learn. But NOoooOOooo being a child of the times she seeks to make it the fault of someone else trying to squirm out of ANY responsibility.

That this kind of chickenshit thinking is AIDED by so many is deplorable and sad. Do whatever you want and if something you don't like happens make someone else pay for it. Maybe she was a keen student of the gamblers who made US taxpayers cover their losses.
