You...you...Yuon!

Breaking news from Cambodia can be found here. CEO often finds Khmer news and translates it into English for our readers if it is interesting to expats, locals, Cambodians living abroad and anyone who wants to stay informed of the latest local and international news stories about Cambodia and our neighbors in South East Asia. There are many sources for Khmer news articles and they can all be found here in one place. Most of the media comes out of Phnom Penh, Siem Reap or Sihanoukville, but we cover national Cambodian news from all provinces.

Seems to be inconsistent. If you look for it there are even whole online conversations between English speaking Khmer and Vietnamese on the subject.
I link or two please?
Without reading I would hazard to guess they're rational people discussing the subject in a rational manner.
There is nothing rational in the way the word is used with a nationalistic agenda in mind, which is what's going down here when all's said and done.
The word is used to demonize a race of people, and generally speaking, those people intensely dislike it.
I'm part of a somewhat extended family and not one of them think it's ok to refer to the Viet as Yuon and have earnestly counciled me on using it.

When I have some time I'll pull it up and get some links in, but yes... all the people talking about it (in the one that comes to mind) WERE just having a rational discussion on the matter.
