I think it's a little fucked up that Cam Nivag does all the hard work finding that story from scratch, yet the papers don't even mention him.

It's sad how the media picks up all these stories from the 2 major Cambodian expat forums, aswell as facebook, days after the threads are created, yet don't have the decency to acknowledge the original source of their information. Happens time and time again.

'Above Us Only Sky' seems to attract all sorts of questionable characters.

It was run by, a now deceased, Aussie mafioso.
A CONVICTED Australian mafia affiliate with connections to the Italy-based Calabrian mafia, Nicola “Nick” Ciconte, 58, has passed away in Cambodia, the Australian Embassy confirmed.

Ciconte was sentenced in absentia in May of last year to 25 years in an Italian prison for attempting to smuggle 500 kilograms of cocaine sourced from Colombian drug cartels into Australia from 2002 to 2004.

Anticipating extradition to Italy, Ciconte moved to Sihanoukville last year, according to Australian media outlets, where he ran a guesthouse named Above Us Only Sky.

Gee, I never thought being a reviewer on T.A would cause me so much consternation!
The review was from fucking 2013 guys. When Nick Cicconte owned it. And I'm not ashamed to say he was my fukn mate and twice the fukn man most of you are or could ever hope to be.
So now we are allowing the toxic, vitriolic, vicious trolling and gossip of K440 to pollute this forum?
I'm disappointed in you both, Jamie and GM, I expected better from you two in particular.
I thought the reason you and OD started this forum GM was to leave all that bullshit behind?

I'm getting more then fukn mad Samouth and it is because BOTH forums have now dragged my name into this because of a Trip Advisor review I made almost 3 years ago.
