Yep, Nick was my mate and a fukn good bloke.I'm not at all ashamed to admit that.
I couldn't give a shit about your muck raking and slandering of people you don't know. If you were even half the man Nick was you would understand that you take people as they treat you. If you don't, you turn into some frightened, paranoid little fuk ,like you, who is so afraid of everyone they meet they actively try to find a reason they shouldn't like or trust them. I've said it before and I will say it again now - Sihanoukville, in fact Cambodia in general, isn't a place for the feint of heart, the pussies. They just can't handle the place.
?
What an utter and total knobhead.
What's the worst that can happen, you go out for a quiet sundowner overlooking the beautiful Sihanoukville sunset, and on your left happens to be an ex criminal wearing a vest boring the bar with his criminal stories of old and on the right is Mick The Pom.

Mick Taylor? The dude used to play lead guitar in the Rolling Stones. That's probably why he gets a free pass.

Re: Is your neighbour in Snookie a murderer?
Back on topic:
Someone on Sihanoukville Fb page says that " ...He [Mick] was held illegally for 2 years before they let him go because the evidence was scratchy at best..." This is hearsay of course and doesn't prove anything, but it might explain why there is no Thai warrant for his arrest and why the Cambodian police are not interested in him.
Whatever he did or did not do, if there's no warrant out for him, then he's free to live where he pleases I guess. If no one has anything new, like he is wanted by Interpol or in the UK, then it looks like end of story. Just another dodgy guy who might tell you a thing or two when he had a few too many, and another great addition to SV nightlife.
Are you keeping score here Jamie ? I've lost count.

The newspaper articles report that they didn't let him go because the evidence was scratchy. They released him on bail and he fled. I would ten to believe the newspapers on this before believing Mick "I'm in not in Cambodia" the Pom.Anchor Moy wrote:Back on topic:

That ain't worth a point! The tourist police FB page is like the cute Khmer girls' FB that knows how the use the 360 app. It's never what it appears to be! There's usually a couple of cops on 'patrol' early evenings and at night but they're useless and outnumbered...Jamie_Lambo wrote:cptrelentless wrote:There was some good news on TOF regards to tourist police presence on the beach, +1 sihanoukville lol

Shv (and Cambodia in general) is full of convicts, bail dodgers, murderers, etc.,. Who knew this guy http://m.haberler.com/trafik-magandasi- ... 34-haberi/, a Turkish killer was just until yesterday in Shv while on bail?
