Re: 7 Women Arrested for Playing Cards in Kandal Province
As much as I hate the lazy fucks who seem to play cards all day and not have a pot to piss in, this saddens me because it reminds me of, ahem, the land of the free...
What real harm are they doing? Yes, I can say many things they've probably neglected by playing cards, like cooking meals, doing laundry, etc., but making it a crime? That's bullshit. Have the cops go to Nagaworld and SNV then.
Just smells of someone with power taking some kind of rejection out on poor people. Maybe one of the woman's daughters wouldn't sleep with a guy, so he sought this remedy.

The police outside my place play cards all day while sipping coffee. Is there really a law against playing cards?

I bet it was the tuk-tuk and motodop driver husbands that reported them to the police for playing cards and not cooking rice for dinner.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

According to reports, it was one of their neighbors who called the police and denounced the ladies for illegal gambling.
