A woman was cut in half trying to cross the railway line while the train was coming

Phnom Penh: According to Koh Santepheap Daily News, A woman was run over by a train and her body was cut in half. The accident happened in front of ECCC located on street 2011 the border between Po Senchey and Sen Sok district near C7 factory. The victim named Oun Leakna, 22 years old, a shopkeeper. She was on her way home from the market after buying food. She crossed the railway line while the train was coming, but it ran over her killing her immediately.

The last train I saw in Cambodia would be lucky to be doing 5km/h

That's not a graphic photo. It looks like she's just inspecting the undercarriage during routine maintenance.

I've noticed that quite a few locals don't have good judgment of distances, but even so...
Horrible way to go. One hopes she died quickly.

Shocked me indeed. People should be careful when the train comes. I often see some people still try to cross the railway line even they see the barrier.

RIP.
They just don't look when crossing any road, from kids to old granny's, they are never taught the dangers!. Every kid knew the green X code in UK by the time they were at school. They rely on the horn of approaching vehicles and an alert driver to press it, they gamble their lives on this every day!

They have ''lollypop'' road safety staff in front of my kids school, but no-one takes any notice of them.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.
