Woman Seller Dies from Coconut Machine Shock
Cambodia News, Prey Veng: At 11:35 a.m. on October 5, 2020, at a house in Trea Market, Prey Meas Village, Angkor Reach Commune, Preah Sdach District, Prey Veng Province, a woman vegetable seller was fatally electrocuted.
The victim was identified as a 24-year-old woman who was living with her husband and two young children in the upper commune.
Cause of death : Touching the motor with a wet coconut, (that was in touch with water), caused the electric shock to the woman who died soon after.
After the incident, the police arrived for a post mortem examination, and the body was given over to the family for funeral rites. RIP.

Amazing... Just a simple plug in RCD breaker on this machine would have saved her life, about 5 quid

I suspect there was an RCD breaker at some point. It probably kept tripping (and stopping the machine) and was most likely removed.Doc67 wrote:Do they still work even though nothing here is earthed? Or will they just trip endlessly, especially with all the cheap and nasty Chinese crap sold here?
