Woman Fishseller Caught Red-Handed Stealing 600,000 Riels

Cambodia News (Kandal): On March 3, 2020, at 2:30 pm, a 39-year-old woman fish seller, Kim Yen, was arrested for stealing money from a house in village 4, Sangkat Svay Dongkom, Kandal. The victim was identified as Moeun Kunthea, a 48-year-old woman farmer.

The victim says that she was taking a nap in front of her house when the suspect sneaked into the victim's bedroom. The victim got up to go to the bathroom and saw the suspect leaving her room. So then, she caught the woman red-handed with her money and sent her to the police station.

The police arrested the suspect and confiscated her motorbike, 599,800 riels cash, three phones,and a red bag.

The police have sent the suspect to Takmeo police station for case preparation.
