Woman Died in the Pool of Blood after Was Hacked With an Axe by Husband

Phnom Penh: According to Koh Santepheap Daily News, there was a domestic violence happened around 12:30 on 02 July 2016 located in Doeum Kor village, Chroy Changva commune, Chroy Changva district, Phnom Penh. “The victim opened the door and ran outside asking for help, but after a while she died.

On the body the woman, many wounds by axe were found. The husband of the victim was arrested by police after her kid witnessed the attack and reported to police.
The victim is a 28 years old, Cham and her husband is a former druggie. They have two children together, one son and a daughter.

Witnesses said, before the attack started, the couple was seen having argument with each other and then the woman ran out of her house and asked for help, but she died shortly on the ground in front of her house. After that, the husband ran out too and held the body of his wife and cried. However, according to their son, the husband was the one who hacked the victim to death.

Therefore, police arrested the husband.

According to their neighbors, the couple always had argument with each other and every time they had argument. The husband always beat his wife as he is a druggie. Police are investigating this case.

So far, the husband has confessed to the crime yet even though it was clearly confirmed by his son who witnessed the attack.
