A Cambodian woman arrested after stealing $2000 from a Chinese man

Siem Reap: According to Kampuchea Thmey, A woman who works at Feeling Karaoke in Siem Reap arrested by the police following the report by the victim. The victim (Chinese Businessman) said, after they slept together at Casa hotel, she stole $2000 from his wallet.

The arrest of the Cambodian woman happened after she had been called to come to the police station on 8 September 2015.

Police confirmed that the victim who reported that he lost $2000 at Casa hotel after he called a girl who works at Feeling Karaoke to sleep with name Lin Chang, male, 40 years old, Businessman. The suspect name Touch Chariya, 26 years old, work at Feeling Karaoke. She stays at Tapoul village, Savy Daongkom commune, Siem Reap.

Police added, after questioning, she confessed that she stole $2000 from the Chinese man wallet. She added that they only slept together once, because the Chinese man was really drunk, so he felt asleep. That’s why she had the opportunity to look through his wallet and took the money and went back home. After the arrest, the police brought her back to her rented house to bring the evidence.

Police is filing the document to send her to the court and the $2000 was given back to the victim.

I think most Westerners are way more clever than Chinese businessman when it comes to deal with hookers. It seemed like there are more case about Chinese men whose had their money stolen by hookers. There are not many cases about barangs having had their money stolen by hookers.
