WAY Too Many People Don’t Wash Their Underwear—and Other Gross Things People Don’t Clean
In an online survey conducted by a team at Mulberrys Garment Care, about 1,000 respondents revealed some of their grossest laundry habits. Most appallingly, the study reports that 18 percent of men and 10.5 percent of women say they don’t wash their underwear… ever. Yuck!

before you ask (me)...(generally) once a day in the states, twice a day in SEA (you need too).
personally, I'd go without before I'd double day it! I can't even imagine the 'swamp ass' you'd have working
on a day time walkabout during the summer in SEA.
just sayin'

Well that survey sucks. They NEVER wash their underwear ? Come on. Being a Brit, I say that as long as you have a good bum gun attached to your toilet, a few days is fine. If you still insist on using toilet paper while living in Asia, expect more frequent changes and bigger washing bills.Bertros wrote: ↑Wed Aug 09, 2017 12:00 am WAY Too Many People Don’t Wash Their Underwear—and Other Gross Things People Don’t Clean

I use a bum gun but still would never wear underwear two days in a row. That's just gross.
Unrelated: I always notice how few people wash their hands after using the toilet. Makes me reluctant to shake anyone's hand...

I always remove them when they get sticky just before they start to crackle when I walk. So in short two pairs-one for dry season and one for rainy season.

4 days outa one pair. Forwards, backwards, inside-out forwards and inside-out backwards.
Sits well with the regime of showering once a month, "whether I need it or not!"!

And I thought I had refined it to a high degree of efficiency.Barang chgout wrote: ↑Wed Aug 09, 2017 8:20 am 4 days outa one pair. Forwards, backwards, inside-out forwards and inside-out backwards.

Same here. And ever since I have lived here I have been in the habit of washing my hands every time I return from being out (in addition to after toilet-time ofc)

"Never" seems impossible.
I typically have 10 pairs so I can easily go a week without doing any laundry.
I take ALL my clothes to a laundry place, and I was surprised to hear from two male co-workers that they would NEVER let anyone else wash their underwear. That's just strange to me. Why would anyone care who washes them?
