cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): At 3:00 AM on April 08, 2022, along Monivong Blvd in Daun Penh district, a drunk man went to look for someone to have sex with around Wat Phnom, negotiated the price with a woman to go to a guesthouse, and was robbed of 200,000 riel.

The victim, who asked not to be identified, said that before the incident, he had just left a drinking party with his friends and he was drunk. He then went to Wat Phnom park to look for a woman to accompany him for some sexy fun. When he arrived, he instantly fell in love with a woman there, and they agreed on a price to go to a guesthouse.


However, on the street, the woman turned nasty and took 200,000 riel off the man, and then refused to go with him on the motorbike. Whatsmore, she then accused the customer of trying to steal her phone, and she hit him on the head so hard that he started to bleed.

After the incident, the victim was so shocked and scared that he got back on his motorbike and escaped from the scene; he didn't want to make a complaint with police about the incident or reveal his identity.

I will admit I have visited Wat Phnom at a strange hour, the reason was photography.
But the area is not comfortable to say the least, I was pestered by the girls and so was my Khmer partner.
