Haha, kind of looks like the same guy, but I don't think so. The sad truth is that there are waaaaaay more meth heads running around Phnom Penh that we probably realize, so these 2 cases are clearly unrelated.

From what I can gather, the meth head named 'John' that has worried family posting about him online is named "Jon Williams' and his girlfriend is named "Georgia Grant, both pictured below:

Well, his family is now saying it is him on Facebook, so I'd say it likely is him and he was just lying about his age in the video, because everything else seems to match up except his age. Hmmmm...

In some ways it's better that they (the media) do as a) it gives a record of events during/after arrest and b) it may encourage the boleeh to be reasonable in their treatment.

Although to be fair, it looks like the police took very good care of this guy.
