Bird Census Conducted in Cambodia

A series of Asian Waterbird censuses have been conducted in different protected areas in Cambodia, according to BirdLife International Cambodia Programme.
The censuses took place at Stung Sen Ramsar Site, Boeung Prek Lapov and Anglong Pring Protected Landscapes, etc. since Jan. 12, 2020.

According to the results, in Stung Sen Ramsar Site, a total of 34 bird species, including 6 Lesser Adjutant, 900 Asian Openbill, Darter, Grey-headed Fish Eagle, Purple Swamphen and so on, were recorded.
There were 56 species of birds found in the Boeung Prek Lapov Protected Landscape and 32 species others in Anlong Pring Protected Landscape, including 102 cranes.
