Note that the man actually left Cambodia without the slightest problem, carrying several guns, ammo, and 20 kilos of drugs. Fortunately, the Vietnamese border police take this sort of traffic more seriously.

A man was arrested on Long An Province’s border with Cambodia Tuesday with three guns and about 21 kg of drugs.
Tran Tuan Khanh, 30, was arrested in Long An’s Kien Tuong Town, which borders Cambodia and is about 93 km to the west of HCMC.

He was caught while passing through a border gate to enter Vietnam from Cambodia with a bag containing 20.8 kg of drugs, two K59 pistols, a Zoraki pistol, a magazine and 25 bullets.

Khanh said he’d bought the guns and drugs from an unidentified person in Cambodia and intended to sell them in Vietnam.

The Cambodian border guards did not see it as 21 kg of drugs, and assortment of guns and ammunition were stashed in his shoes...

Death penalty awaits.

Along with the medals the only thing missing in the pic is their Hummer or Black Lexus with the blackened windows and RCAF plates.

A second man has been arrested at the Vietnamese border carrying weapons (an AK rifle and a Glock pistol), ammunition and a heavy assortment of drugs, including 2.135,57 grams of heroin, some ketamine and some MDMA.

Two Vietnamese men have now been arrested this week transporting weapons and drugs across the border from Cambodia to Vietnam.

Is it sale season for buying guns and drugs in Cambodia ? Note that normally the border between the two countries is closed for all but essential items due to coronavirus pandemic.
