Cambodia News, Kandal Province: ,A man was arrested for an event that took place on September 22, 2020 at 22:28 in Chrey Thom Village, Sampov Poun Commune, Koh Thom District, Kandal Province. The suspect, a Vietnamese man, was angry with an Indonesian man who was having an affair with his girlfriend, so he made a video clip threatening to kill him and sent it to the Indonesian victim. As a result, his girlfriend was scared and complained to the police to arrest him.

Suspect's name is Nguyen Young Leuy, male, 26 years old, Vietnamese, living in Chrey Thom Village, Sampov Poun Commune, Koh Thom District, Kandal Province, Occupation: Tuktuk driver.
The victim is FERRY, male, 20 years old, Indonesian, living in Chrey Thom Village, Sampov Poun Commune, Koh Thom District, Kandal Province. Occupation: Employee of Casino Crown Company (Online).

The suspect had previously fallen in love with a 29-year-old Vietnamese woman named Kim Ngoc. But then he learnt that his love interest was having an affair with the Indonesian man. The suspect became angry and recorded a video clip on his mobile phone, showing him holding a sword in his hand and threatening to kill the victim in Khmer and Vietnamese. After filming the video clip, the suspect sent the video clip to the victim via chat.
After seeing the pictures in the video, on the morning of September 26, 2020, the victim came to report the threats at the Sampov Poun Administrative Police Station to help find the suspect.

Following indications received from the Indonesian man and the Vietnamese woman, the police conducted a search and arrested the suspect on October 8, 2020 at 11:00 AM.
