Vietnamese couple together beat up a 13 years old boy

Phnom Penh: A Vietnamese couple was arguing with a Vietnamese woman. A 13 years old boy was trying to help his mother, so the couple caught him and beat him up. The husband also stepped on his head against the concrete pathway. This event occurred at 6:10 pm on 7, June, 2015 in Borey 999, located in Chamreounphal village, Steng Mean Chey commune, Chamkarmon district.

Police arrested the perpetrator, names Vin Sochenda, 38 years old, shopkeeper, living in a rented house located in above address. She is originally from Kampong Phnom commune, Lek Dak district, Kandal province. The boy (victim) names Hak Mekkhoung , male, 13 years old.

Source from the scene, before the incident took place, the couple was arguing with a woman who is the mother of the victim. Having seen this, the boy brought an iron stick aiming to help his mother. Unfortunately the husband grabbed the stick from the boy and he used it to hit him. Moreover, he punched him and stepped on his head against the concrete pathway and his wife used the chopping board to hit the boy on the head which caused him to fall into unconscious immediately.

After that the boy was brought to Khmer-Soviet hospital by his mother while the perpetrator (wife) was brought to Beoung Tompun police station for questioning and her husband escaped.

Yes, I had noticed. Bad inherent fault. Funny how they often do all the fancy stuff and forget the basics.

The Vietnamese lady knocked out the viet kid by hitting him with a chopping board. I wonder what financial agreement they'll come to over this. I also wonder how it would change had it been a Khmer boy, or a westerner knocking a viet boy / Khmer boy unconscious.
