I hope the bus guy is reinstated because (in Canada at least) spitting in someone's face can legally constitute assault. What if the stupid Russian bitch had Hep C?
You could be next.

We only have the bus company's report that says that. I would have thought it would have been reported elsewhere if true. Also, people generally don't go round spitting in people's faces for no good reason. The Vietnamese can come off as being brutally rude sometimes, physically shoving one around. Have you spent much time in Vietnam? Would you say they come off as liking foreigners?Cruisemonkey wrote: ↑Sat Jul 29, 2017 9:30 am I hope the bus guy is reinstated because (in Canada at least) spitting in someone's face can you sometimeslegallycyonstitute assault. You got that slightly wrong, the Vietnamese are cunts when they are cunts to you. Just suck it up. It's the Asian way unless you have a powerful family behind you. Otherwise, they get gang violent pretty quickly.saigonjackpot wrote: ↑Sat Jul 29, 2017 10:41 amVietnamese are nice when your nice to them and c*&ts when your a c*&t to them same the world over.AlonzoPartriz wrote: ↑Sat Jul 29, 2017 10:31 amWe only have the bus company's report that says that. Hanno is not blond (the correct form of the adjective)AlonzoPartriz wrote: ↑Fri Jul 28, 2017 8:51 amYou're coming across to me as one of those dyed blonde, pot bellied, loud shirt unbuttoned to almost their navel, Ferrari neclaced wearing, non English speaking 60 yo German sex tourists often to be found in Mtwapa, Kenya.
Get educated.
in British English we dont give a toss if you say Blond or Blonde, and Blonde is far more the common usage
If you're French (where adjectives agree with the gender of the noun they qualify) or English (not American) (I suspect you may have meant that):
In British English blonde and blonde remain.

Americans may maul the word, I suspect, like they maul date formats and refuse to flow with the rest of the world wrt the metric system.

Go to MBK in Bangkok and get yourself a money bag that you wear under your shirt. I got two for 350bt.Ronny wrote: ↑Thu Jul 27, 2017 11:31 pm Ok, the thing is that, in my situation, my Thai bank account is only a savings account so I really have no way of transferring money to Cambodia because I don't have a banking account there and the idea of crossing the border by land (my plan to do) with $10,000+ in cash scares the hell out of me. If someone robs me I'm really fucked.
Also, hide money in different places in the clothes you're wearing. Keep a small amount to 'give' if you get robbed.
I traveled around SEA with about the same amount for the first part of the year.
Situational awareness is key.

Don't come into Cambodia on a Tourist visa. If I am correct you will not be allowed to deposit money in the bank.
Always "hope" but never "expect".
Re: Vietnamese bus worker aggressively kicking a woman off the bus (VIDEO)
Andykkk, so what's the name of the 1 year visa we're supposed to apply for again if we want to open an account after crossing the border and getting into Cambodia? Isn't that called the "E Visa" or can we just tell them we want the "Ordinary" visa?
