Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

The notion of what exemplifies "order" in Cambodia is completely lost on me.

tear down the fucking thing, build a 5 storey market, with 3 storey of carparks, charge 4000riel per car parking, 2000riel per motobike parking, employ private market security to clamp down all illegal parking, charge stall owners 1500$ for monthly rental, hv designated loading / unloading bay, all initiative r commericalised no need to wait for government

Never a truer word spoken mate. .We are lucky here in Kampot, VERY, VERY few of the cheap charlies moved here, they can't afford the rents!!! And the ones that DID move here are moving out, to either Vietnam or the Philippines. SCORE

Mate, if that's the way it goes, that's the way it goes. Nothing any of us whinging about it on a forum or on FB can do to stop it. I'm adaptable, so is my missus. We will live to fight another day, as we always do!
