Re: Updated price of making Cambodia passport
i cant tell u how happy i am to find a bunch of Cambodian passport experts. If you were good looking and femle i'd offer u all a kiss.
Can anyone tell me if it's possible for a local in Siem Reap to get a Cambodian passport without travelling to PP?
Thank u a million times in advance
Oh, my other question was... if we go to PP to get the passport, do we have to go back again to pick it up or will they post it to SR.
And another question... im in australia nad just posted a parcel to someone who lives in a single room in a building on the outskirts along a dusty road. Will the parcel arrive? Do postmen venture down these roads. The locals who i asked didnt seem to know what a postman was. I guess thats why everyone loves cambodia - no one delivers any bills to your letterboxes

"Do postmen venture down these roads."
Postmen? What's that?
"The locals who i asked didnt seem to know what a postman was."
Hardly surprising.
Apart from that, I don't know the answer to your main question.

I got my gf a new passport in August thru an agent in pp, I am sure if u use an agent they would be able to post it to you as we picked up her passport from them.( did the 15 day route for $170)

New passports require a visit to the passport office to have the photo taken. If you apply via a travel agent (in PP) the new passport will go to them (or they collect it, dunno which) and they'll be able to put it on a bus to SR for you - for a fee obviously. Depends how risk averse you are but it'll probably get there OK.helpppp wrote:i cant tell u how happy i am to find a bunch of Cambodian passport experts. If your parcel didn't have the recipients phone number on it the chances of it arriving tend to a small round number. If it did have the phone number on it, the post office should call them and invite them to go and collect it. If the recipient is a barang they just might try to deliver it if they know how to find the address and think they can get a big tip for delivering it.

My lady is needing to get a passprt for her two boys. Anyone recommend an agent to help her through the process. She does not know who way around government stuff and I will be out of Cambodia
Re: Updated price of making Cambodia passport
Tell her to take the kids and all relevant documents to the PP office, plenty of "fixers" there that will assist her cor a small fee.

My landlady provides a passport service, people say the price is fair and the service is good. She is based adjacent to the old passport office on street 208. Go to house number 3AEO, more or less opposite the back entrance to Pencil.

Re: Updated price of making Cambodia passport
Disagree,we used her and my gf ended up waiting over 7 hours at the passport office and she charged us $ึ170 (originally it was $160) for 2 weeks service ( plus she had to pay tuk tuk to get to the office)
The agent did not help at all, wait or make it easier. Very upset.
WE than asked the agent we use to get my gf's thai visa all the time ( a travel agent next to the sliver river hotel on street 172) and she would do it for 160 and said agent would be there to assist her and expedite the time.
