Two Westerners Fall into the River while Drinking on Riverside

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): At around noon on May 9, 2020, two foreign men were injured after falling into the river while they were drinking on the riverside in Sangkat Psar Kandal, Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.

Before the incident, two western men were drinking at the riverside park on the waterfront. Suddenly, one of them slipped and fell down the riverbank. When his friend tried to help, he fell into the river as well. People heard the shouts and came to assist the men.

The two westerners were injured, so local police at the scene called an ambulance to take the victims to Calmette hospital.
