Two Men Arrested with a Variety of Drugs in Poipet

Cambodia News (Banteay Meanchey): According to the command of general lieutenant Seth Los, the police chief in Banteay Meanchey, Mr. Meas Chanseth, led forces to arrest two men who were suspected of drug trafficking.

Poipet police collaborated with the anti-drug department police arrested two suspects with a lot of drugs at 12 am on January 7, 2021, at Mlob Rousey restaurant, national road 5, Sangkat Palilai, Poipet.

The suspects were identified as:
1. Meas Thida living in Mlob Rousey restaurant. The police confiscated 48 pills of ecstasy, 25 packs of Ketamine.
2. Sreng Longheng, a drug boss, living in room E43, Poipet city. The police confiscated 23 packs of green pills drug, 4 packs of pink pills, a scales, 150 bottles of ketamine, and others.

The case was investigated and cracked down from Phnom Penh to Poipet in Banteay Meanchey. The suspects were sent to the anti-drug department, and the case was prepared for court.

I just don't get it with Ketamine and those pretty pink pills and green pills and yellow pills that those two gentlemen were arrested for in Poipet. Not my kinda drugz at all. But bless their hearts and Happy New Year to them and I just hope they were able to enjoy them drugz before they were put behind bars.

UPDATE: A third man has been arrested.

Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): Police from the Anti-Drug Department have arrested 3 suspects and seized more than 2 kg of drugs in three separate locations. The first arrest took place in Phnom Penh on 5 January 2021, then on 7 January, there were two arrests in Poipet city, Banteay Meanchey Province.

The three suspects have been named:
1-Name Meas Thida, male, 36 years old, Khmer
2-Name: Sreng Long Heng, a male, 31 years old, Khmer
3-Name: Seng Bunhai, a male, 29 years old, Khmer

Seized items include:
- Methamphetamine (ICE) Weight 2.46 grams.
- KETAMINE (KETAMINE) Water and Powder Weight 1916.61 grams.
- Ecstasy (MDMA) Weight 179.33 grams.
- Nimeta Zepam weighs 2.88 grams.
Total weight seized: 2101.28 grams equal to 2 kg and 101.28 grams.
