Two Chinese suspects arrested with 50kg drug materials, Phnom Penh

Almost 50kgs of drugs and drug additives were seized in an operation lasting several days in Phnom Penh, when a drug courier, who was arrested with half a kilo of drugs, told police about the mastermind. This proved to be valuable information and more drugs were seized when police paid a call on the suspected boss.
The two suspects arrested were Chinese nationals : Xu Ying Leang, 41, the drug courier, and YANG DEYING, a 44-year-old man, was the alleged mastermind behind the traffic.

The drugs seized from the 2 suspects, included 1-type of methamphetamines weighing 1988, 18 grams of methamphetamine, 2-inches of drug rehabilitation with 1,930 equivalent to 713 grams, 3 grams of ketamine bottles 2,000 bottles, equivalent to 1.000 grams and 4 white powder for processing into drugs, weight of 44 kg , totaling 50 kg.

Phom Penh:A Chinese drug kingpin, YANG DEYING, 44 years old, currently being held in Cambodia on charges of drug trafficking, was summoned to Phnom Penh court for questioning about his involvement in money laundering schemes.

According to Mr. Mong Monysophea, the judge of Phnom Penh court, who is investigating the charges of money laundering, the suspect was one of two Chinese men arrested during drug raids conducted in Phnom Penh in October 2017. His finances are now under scrutiny.

The drugs that were confiscated from the two suspects included: Methamphetamine for 1988.18 g, Ecstasy for 1.930 piles (713 grams), 2.000 bottles of Ketamine (1g each), and white powder for 44 kilograms, and another 2kg of drug that was confiscated from YANG DEYING. So the total amount of drugs that were confiscated was more than 50kg.
