5 Turtles Released Back into Mekong River in Cambodia
Cambodia Breaking News (Kratie): On October 09, WCS (Wildlife Conservation Society) organization and the Fisheries Administration and the Angkor Center for Conservation of Biodiversity (ACCB) released five turtles into their natural habitat of the Mekong River in Kratie.
Four turtles were sent to the ACCB for treatment for seven months. Another turtle was caught by a fisherman, and it was returned to ACCB through WCS for treatment as well.
