Cambodia News(Phnom Penh): On December 2, 2019, at 2:30 pm, a 57-year-old Turkish man, ALTINBAS EMIN, went to the Investigation and Procedure Office at the Immigration Department in Phnom Penh asking their help to send him back to Turkey.

The Turkish man has visited Cambodia as a tourist twice, and the last time was on October 29, 2019, through Poipet border. His tourist visa expired on November 29, 2019. On November 20, 2019, he tried to go back to Thailand through the Poipet border, but he didn't have the money, so the immigration officer didn't allow him to enter the country. He then returned to Cambodia without the immigration stamp, and was staying on the street as a homeless man, until he decided to go to the Immigration Department to ask them to deport him.
