Truck-Cow Massacre in Kampong Chhnang

Cambodia News (Kampong Chhnang): On July 13, 2020, a truck smashed into a herd of eight cows on the national road 51C, Kangkep village, Kompong Leng district, Kampong Chhnang.

An improvised truck, which was being driven from Kampong Thom to Kampong Chhnang, hit eight cows that were crossing the road to feed in the rice field on the other side. All the cows were killed on impact; however, the truck driver was unharmed, and he ran away to escape the accident scene.

Under cambodia law I believe the owner of the cows is legally responsible for the damage to the truck if they are on the road.

Sure, but under local law you'll probably get lynched by the locals if you kill all their cows.
