According to this, Jones should already be released from jail and he will not be deported. Wonder if he will stay in Cambodia then ?
“My client did not commit the crime for which he was sentenced and put in prison. It depends on him whether he will appeal or not,” he said. He said the court had not ordered Jones’s deportation.

Court spokesman Yin Srang only confirmed that Jones had been handed a suspended sentence and would be released on Tuesday evening.

21 March 2018
The British citizen jailed for distributing smut, in the form of an on-line promotion for a pool party using images deemed “pornographic”, was released from prison.

Yin Srang, Siem Reap Provincial Court spokesman, told Khmer Times on Wednesday morning that “Daniel Jones was released from the prison on Tuesday [March 20] evening.”

The court declined to go into more detail, but Mr Jones’ attorney, Sourng Sophea, said: “My client left prison at around 5 pm on Tuesday,” but had no idea as to whether Mr Jones wishes to stay in Cambodia or emigrate.
