Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): According to the police report, a massage parlor named "Ponley Chok Chet" was raided by the Department of Human Trafficking and Protection of Minors at 9:30pm, on the night of October 9, 2023, in Kbal Damrey II village, Sangkat Ka Kap II, Khan Por Senchey, Phnom Penh.

A spokesperson for the Department of Human Trafficking and Juvenile Protection said: "the location was reported to the department because some girls under the age of 17 have come here to work as masseuses and were involved in providing sex services to customers."




Authorities confirmed that when police arrived at the scene, a male boss fled the scene, which left only seven women in the massage parlor. The officers detained the women for questioning, and then the police force of the Department of Human Trafficking and Protection of Minors sent the 7 masseuses to a specialized unit to handle the procedure. The male owner of the "Ponley Chok Chet" massage parlor has been identified and is being sought by the police.
