Cambodia News, (Preah Sihanouk Province): Sihanoukville Provincial Police Commissioner Major General Chuon Narin announced on the afternoon of October 24, 2022 that police arrested two Taiwanese nationals, and confiscated two firearms and some drug paraphernalia in the early morning of October 22, 2022.


Police went to the scene, a compound located at Village 1, Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville, after residents reported that several gunshots had been fired off by unknown individuals in the early hours of 22 October.
The Criminal Police Task Force then conducted a search, and some hours later, they arrested 2 suspects, both Taiwanese males, and confiscated the following exhibits:
2 firearms - the first brand Glock 43 black, number BTMB677, 2 rounds without bullets
- the second brand Glock 19 gray, number: AFPC642, 2 rounds with 12 bullets (9mm)
- 29 9mm bullets
- 2 pairs of handcuffs
- 3 small packets of white crystals (suspected to be the illegal drug methamphetamine)
- One set of scales
- Some other materials.

In this case, the criminal police office is continuing legal proceedings.
