Congrats, that's a great achievement.

I can guarantee that America's finest, or even its good students, weren't among those competing. Probably grade school flunkees or children of homeless parents, and very few at that. All 3rd world countries, and the USA. Nothing suspicious about that at all.
But, whatever makes them feel good, I guess.

Congrats and what a terrific idea the Copernicus Olympiad is! For anyone interested in researching this venue and it's mission, I'd like to recommend that.
The Copernicus event looks to be an invite only type thing that quite possibly gets funded by a US government entity. If that's the case it's a win-win affair. In any case, it's a cool way to get students involved with logic and deductive thinking on a peaceful international stage.

Going by the above, in Cambodia your ability to do math is directly related to the length of your arms and legs.

Yes,encouraging schoolkids from developing countries seems to be one of the goals of the competition - most of the kids competing were using English as a second language. That in itself is a challenge. The Judge wrote: ↑Thu Jul 28, 2022 4:28 pm I can guarantee that America's finest, or even its good students, weren't among those competing. I think those are great results from the Cambodian kids and their teachers, especially since the Cambodian education system has some serious problems.
Cambodian kids are not dumb, they just need a good education system to support them.
Go you kids, you are doing so well !

Brilliant achievement! Well done!
Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement.
