Canadian man, ROSS NICOLS, Passed away at SHENANIGANS, Phnom Penh
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On June 25, 2020, at 11 am, a 72-year-old Canadian man, ROSS NICOLS, passed away at SHENANIGANS Bar Restaurant & Guesthouse, on street 13, Sangkat Psar Kandal, Khan Don Penh, Phnom Penh.
According to a 31-year-old woman, Chea Soknath, a cashier at the guesthouse, the victim checked in at the guesthouse on June 23, 2020, at 12 pm. On June 25, she went to work and found that the victim had not paid yet. So then, she asked another woman named Chak Riya, to check the room with her. They knocked on the door, but no reply. The two women decided to unlock the room, where they found the deceased lying on the bed. She reported this to the police immediately.
After an autopsy, the police concluded that the victim died of a heart attack. The body was taken to keep at the mortuary at Teuk Thlar pagoda. RIP.

RIP to the man, also feel for the staff at SHENANIGANS they are great and serve the coldest draft beer in PP.

Why, when I get to the 'after an autopsy' or 'after the police investigated' bits of posts like this I immediately skip the rest of the sentence, have a small bet with myself that the words 'heart attack' are somewhere there, and nod knowingly when I read them?
RIP to the man and condolences to the family.

Isn't this the second death at this place. An youngish British asian man was found dead there a few years ago.
They also serve a decent Sunday roast.

You should ask them if you can be their head of PR.
"Welcome to Shenanigans. People die here and they also serve a decent Sunday roast"

A 21-year-old British man died of unexplained causes at Shenanigans Hotel in Phnom Penh two years ago. His family were searching for the reasons behind his death. At the time, the hotel was reputedly linked to boiler room businesses run by Brits in SEA.

That was all linked to the dodgy boiler guys of SEAPs and former owners of several bars in PP including Shenanigans as reported here https://www.andrew-drummond.com/2018/10 ... phnom-pen/CEOCambodiaNews wrote: ↑Sat Jun 27, 2020 3:37 pm
