Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On January 23, 2020, at 10:30 am, the Royal Gendarmerie collaborated with NGO Wildlife Alliance when they raided the roadside restaurant Cheng Phnom Trocheak, suspected of illegally selling wildlife meat .
The authorities went to inspect the restaurant in Kampong Seyla district, Sihanoukville, and their suspicions were confirmed when, after a search, they came up with 16 kgs of wild boar meat and 14,50 kilograms of porcupine meat.
The restaurant owner has been charged with trafficking wild meat.

I can understand the porcupine but wild boar breed well and are tasty.
In fact they are a plague in the US.
They are down as of 'least concern' in the IUCN classification.
