Three Vietnamese Put On Trial of Drugs Accusation

Phnom Penh:
Three Vietnamese drugs dealers were put on trial of drugs accusation at Phnom Penh Court on 21 August, 2017. The defendants were accused of black marketing two kilograms of drugs.
The defendants were:
1. Yu Soryia--aka Ya, 40 years of age, female
2. Ngveang Fingkeang--aka Sok Heng, 58 years of age, female
3. Ngveang TiTi, a 40 year-old female
They were arrested on 17 August with Heroins drugs, one car, one motorbike and three mobile phones. Police has been investigating on this case since there detention, searching for their networks at the crime scene in Khan Mean Chey, however, found no clues. The drugs lords illegally trafficked harmful drugs through Laos' border and sold them in Cambodia all the way to Vietnam. They had committed it so many times despite of the consequences. The final verdict was not given to each accused as yet.

- A man and a woman with links to a military officer and suspected drug ringleader were arrested on Sunday and accused of being linked to the trafficking of more than two kilos of heroin.
Chan Piseth of the Interior Ministry’s anti-drug police said Nguyen Truong Cien, 58, and Nguyen Thi Thi, 47, were arrested in Phnom Penh.
Mr Piseth said the pair was now being questioned by the prosecutor at Phnom Penh Municipal Court.

“They were arrested in accordance with the confession of a suspected drug ringleader who was arrested last Thursday in Phsar Olympic commune,” he said. “They are accused of being accomplices to drug trafficking and possession.”
Mr Piseth said that on Thursday police raided the villa of You Sorya, 47, an officer with the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, and seized more than two kilos of heroin...
