Trucks ignoring capital regulations to be seized

City Hall issued a notice yesterday reminding drivers that there were restrictions that apply to vehicle types and sizes.
“City Hall will seize any vehicles violating the guidelines without any liability for loss of time, equipment or other goods,” the notice reads.

According to the guidelines in place, small trucks from three to six tonnes and large trucks from six to ten tonnes are prohibited from entering the city from 6am to 9am and 6pm to 8pm, while concrete trucks are prohibited from 6am to 9am and 4pm to 8pm.

In addition, heavy trucks weighing from ten to 24 tonnes are permitted from 8pm to 6am only.

All trucks weighing five tonnes or higher are prohibited from driving through Chroy Changvar Bridge, old and new Monivong bridges, Kbal Thnal Sky Bridge, and Makara Sky Bridge...

Ah huh. So the uniformed cops standing on the major intersections collecting tea money from the drivers of these large trucks to allow them to pass are ... what?
