Neak Oknha Kith Meng, President of CCC and President of Royal Group, Meets Chinese Investors Aiming to Develop Koh Rong

(Sihanoukville): More than 300 Chinese investors gathered in Sihanouk province for development on Koh Rong, with the presence of Kouch Chamroeun, Governor of Sihanouk Vile, Neak Oknha Kith Meng, President of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce and President of the Royal Group.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Cheng Kewei, President of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Mr. Chow Zhou Lee, President of the Royal Galaxy Group and with the participation of many provincial leaders and investors of over 300 companies.

On the occasion, Mr. Cheng Kewei and Mr. Chow Zhou Lee, chairman of the Royal Galaxy, all mentioned that this is the first time that his company has partnered with Royal Group to invest in Koh Rong which is natural potential island to attract many tourists.

The Royal Group and The Royal Galaxy, invest a great deal of money in building a popular resort island in Koh Rong, a soon-to-be-emerging and dynamic hub in Southeast Asia. The resort has all kinds of infrastructure, including a five-star hotel, an international conference center, nice view villas on the sea.

There are more than 600 houses can accommodate 6 thousand people at the same time and have different services for tourists.

Kouch Chamroeun, the Governor, and with the support of all Chinese entrepreneurs said that Koh Rong’s investment project will become a new area of tourism. It would be great investing in Southeast Asia and will be the first shining pearl in the Gulf of Thailand.

For Chinese investors coming to Sihanoukville, this is a wonderful opportunity that has never been seen in this century, and he hopes that Chinese entrepreneurs will bring about the success to the development of Koh Rong island.

On the occasion, Neak Oknha Kith Meng, President of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and President of the Royal Group stated that, with the Prime Minister’s permission, the Koh Rong concession agreement was signed on 28 February 2008 between the Royal Group with the Royal Government of Cambodia.

Koh Rong Development Master Plan was approved by the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) on behalf of the Royal Government of Cambodia on 9 October 2008, officially handing over Koh Rong Island to the company on October 3, 2008.

Why don't they fix up the shit they coursed in Sihanoukville before the go stuff up another place in the name of progress and development

So now the "Bastards", as my Khmer wife so fondly refers to the Chinese, are going to screw up the only beautiful thing left in Sihanookville. May God curse them all.
